Keeping it simple

Taking photos on site requires several key considerations including, but not limited to, natural light, artificial light, ambient light at different times of the day, physical space available, and most importantly, the client objectives. At the end of the day, keeping it simple and customizing the set up to best meet the clients needs means, in a word: planning ahead. This photo was taken in late afternoon so the backlight would flatter the clients hair.
